Visit Bournemouth
Bournemouth, a coastal resort town on the south coast of England, east of the Jurassic Coast is one of the largest towns in Dorset.
With Poole to the west and Christchurch in the east, Bournemouth is perfectly located in the middle with over 7 miles of beaches.
The town centre is notable for its Victorian architecture and the towering spire of St Peter’s Church, a local landmark. The town’s location has made it a popular destination for tourists, attracting over five million visitors annually with its beaches and popular nightlife. It is also a regional centre of business, home of the Bournemouth International Centre or BIC.
Bournemouth also hosts some of the most amazing piers, including “Britain’s coolest pier” Boscombe Pier. The Pavilion theatre is well worth a visit while staying at the Durley Dean Hotel, or maybe catch a game of football at Dean Court, only 2 miles from the town centre.
Easily accessible by car, train or plane, Bournemouth is the ideal location for solo travellers, romantic breaks and families alike.

TESTIMONIALS
What our guests are saying…
Having decided on a short break in Bournemouth, The Durley Dean lived up to our expectation that it would be an excellent base. The hotel is conveniently situated, attractively decorated and maintained, the staff are all pleasant and helpful and the food and wines are of a good standard. Our room was well appointed and comfortable and we enjoyed the opportunity to use the swimming pool. We were lucky enough to be able to park our car in the hotel car park throughout our stay.
